Business

A number of our local patrons in Hull and East Yorkshire are branches of major British companies, who appreciate the value of JCI in allowing young people to develop their careers. We also have a number of patrons from small to medium size businesses and sole traders who appreciate the space outside work to develop themselves to help their company grow.

Through the JCI, members can learn best practice from different industries and make useful business contacts. Business projects which are run nationally include high profile business lectures and business networking events and locally JCI HEY also runs regular tours of local businesses - helping members get an insight into some of the most successful companies in the UK.

SPEED NETWORKING EVENTS

JCI have a strategic partnership with the student organisation AIESEC which runs internationally, nationally and at a local level. JCI Hull & East Yorkshire has worked with AIESEC Hull to run business themed events in the local area such as Speed Networking. Our joint Speed Networking project in Spring 2005 was so successful we won both Regional and National awards for Best Business Project from JCI UK in 2005.
